Coline-Lee Toumson

Coline-Lee Toumson is a historian and cultural engineer specializing in International Relations and international artistic cooperation. She holds a Master’s in the History of International Relations and Art History training from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a Master’s in International Artistic Cooperation from Université Paris 8 and an MBA in Cultural Engineering from the École Supérieure des Arts et de la Culture (EAC-Paris Opéra).

She founded and directed Vibrations Caraïbes (2005–2011), the first multidisciplinary festival dedicated to contemporary arts from the Caribbean and the Americas in Paris. From 2012 to 2016, she led the Domaine de Fonds Saint-Jacques in Martinique, a major 17th-century heritage site and Cultural Meeting Center recognized by the French Ministry of Culture. She later worked within the French cultural network abroad and served as Deputy Director of the Institut français du Bénin.

Coline-Lee Toumson is currently Cultural and Artistic Affairs Advisor to the President of the Republic of Benin, contributing to national cultural policies, creative industries, and the Museums Program of Benin.

As founder of the consultancy Amazone Caraïbe, she has directed multidisciplinary cultural projects across the Caribbean, Europe, and West Africa. A producer and former cultural journalist, she teaches at the Université des Antilles and was named Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2014. Passionate about cultural diplomacy and artistic creation, she is dedicated to developing meaningful cultural ecosystems.
