Project Description:
A global brand with local roots. When you are a major global retail brand like the French group Carrefour, how do you enter a new country, a new continent such as Côte d’Ivoire, and connect with Ivorians without losing your identity? The idea: to create a 100% Ivorian visual identity that transforms a visit to our hypermarkets into a powerful visual and cultural experience — in every aisle, on the walls, at the checkouts, and beyond. Reinventing Carrefour’s spaces: brand activations, brand experience, aisles, walls, checkouts, signage, branding… in short, a new visual language full of meaning: the Adinkra graphic heritage. One story, a multitude of symbols. From now on, every visit to Carrefour becomes a cultural, visual, and distinctly Ivorian experience.
