Product Description:

Product Innovation / Specification:
Designed as a hybrid object between a light fixture and an installation, it explores the meeting point of technological innovation, artisanal craftsmanship, and sustainable design. Its modular system, the use of replaceable G9 LED bulbs, and the choice of a bio-based material reflect a commitment to creating objects that are more responsible, repairable, and built to last.

Product Sustainability Approach:
Replaceable bulbs; piece designed to be disassembled into sub-assemblies; possibility of taking back or reprinting certain elements; object designed to endure both visually and technically; promotion of handcrafted assembly, which strengthens emotional attachment to the object rather than encouraging a logic of fast consumption.

Local and Regional Impacts of the Product:
The Irawo Cascade chandelier has a local impact by showcasing a design created in Benin, at the crossroads of craftsmanship and digital fabrication. Its production mobilizes local skills in design, assembly, finishing, and installation, while encouraging capacity building around new practices. Economically, it creates value through a highly distinctive design object intended for residential, hospitality, and institutional markets. On a regional scale, it helps strengthen the visibility of contemporary, sustainable, and exportable West African design, while offering an inspiring model of responsible creation rooted in the realities of the continent.
