The project draws inspiration from N'djamena’s urban fabric and the symbolic "Bet" house, featuring a gable roof that reflects local architecture and collective memory. The design seamlessly integrates into the Moursal district by adopting a simple, harmonious volume with moderate height and an open facade facing the street.The central patio fosters a convivial atmosphere, emphasizing community. Overall, the project embodies a respectful dialogue between modernity and tradition, blending local identity with sustainable architecture. It creates a functional, culturally meaningful, and environmentally conscious space.

Afrostudio is a professional structure created in 2015 founded by architect Mbogo that works for the integration of contemporary architecture in the historical, traditional, and cultural context of sub-Saharan Africa and more specifically in Chad, all while respecting the environment. The challenge is all the greater if we consider the urban realities and lack of infrastructure that characterize this part of the world. In an innovative architectural approach that considers all aspects of the project we seek to create sustainable built spaces that reflect our ambition as an African urban space.
