Alain Soreil

L’École Duperré Paris / Principal

Passionate and deeply engaged with Art in all its forms, he dreams, draws, and paints every day. He attended classes at the Fine Arts School and, from his experience with dissections during his medical studies, he developed a sharp, incisive eye for understanding the balance and posture of the human body. His heightened sensitivity—shaped by years of practising martial arts—combined with an insatiable curiosity, drives him to paint with intensity, frenzy, commitment, and introspection.

His figurative, expressive, and symbolist painting style invites each of us to dive deep within ourselves in search of the truths that continue to shape our lives.

An internationally renowned painter, Alain Soreil is far from an unknown figure in the art world. His numerous exhibitions at the Louvre and the Grand Palais in Paris, as well as in Asia and across the globe, are a testament to his success and his deep interest in understanding humanity in all its diversity. He offers a universal perspective on the world, like a travelling journalist who has traded a pen for a paintbrush.

The artist observes, analyzes, and passionately depicts what shapes a person’s life through the most intimate lens of their emotions. He sees in others beings trapped by their own ideas and moral principles. Love, secrets, disillusionment, and self-transcendence are themes he explores with humor, intelligence, and raw honesty through a vibrant and richly varied palette.

A deeply humanistic figure, he designs and proposes, at the request of various institutions and governments across the world, innovative programs and valuable insights for the development of cultural sectors, fashion industries, and forward-looking policies essential to the empowerment of youth worldwide.
