Faty Ly is a ceramic designer and ceramic artist. In 2015, she launched her eponymous brand, FATYLY, in Senegal, specialising in tableware. Faty draws all her creativity from African iconography to bring an authentic signature to her work.
She reinterprets graphic forms and surface textures, using porcelain or clay as a canvas to tell the contemporary story of African heritage. The brand contributes to preserving African cultures as a form of heritage, anchoring them in collective memory.
