Kefil Saka is a Designer and the Executive Director of the Africa Design School, the first design school in Francophone West Africa, based in Cotonou, Benin. Passionate about the intersections between design, culture, and social transformation, he has spent several years working to build a strong, inclusive, and international African creative ecosystem.
He has developed an educational approach rooted in local realities while oriented toward innovation, multiplying partnerships with institutions, companies, design schools, and international organizations. He is also the initiator of African Design Week, an event that celebrates contemporary African design and creativity.
Deeply committed to showcasing the talents of the continent, he advocates for a design that is accessible, strategic, and in service of development. As a jury member of the AIDA – Africa International Design Awards, he contributes his expertise to recognizing African designers and their impact on the world.
