Rhoda Aguonigho is a Pan-African culture practitioner, consultant, and the Executive Director of Lhaude Africa, an institution dedicated to empowering creative entrepreneurs across the continent through education, community and Global trade. Merging her background as an educator with her passion for the creative industries, Rhoda has directly shaped the careers of over 2,000 creatives. She has designed and facilitated training on sustainable fashion and business development for prestigious partners, including the African Development Bank’s “Fashnomics” initiative and Falmouth University (UK).
Her expertise in building creative ecosystems has led to collaborations with key organizations such as the British Council, Lagos Fashion Week, and the United Nations Conscious Fashion Lifestyle Network, where she also served on the Advisory Committee. She has led intercultural trade projects between Nigeria, China, US and India.
Rhoda’s work has been widely recognized. She was a nominee for The Future Awards Africa Prize for Fashion (2023) and was awarded the Future Forward Female 25under25 award as a cultural ambassador. She is also an Arts and Culture Fellow at Salzburg Global. She holds a degree in Language Arts and Education from Obafemi Awolowo University and a diploma in Business Management from King’s College London.
