As the Founder of the African Fashion Foundation (AFF), she champions the growth and global recognition of African fashion designers and creative professionals, both on the continent and in the diaspora. Her work focuses on fostering a sustainable, inclusive, and culturally respectful fashion industry that celebrates African heritage and promotes cross-border collaboration.
Roberta is especially passionate about empowering women in business. She launched the Impact Fund for African Creatives, an investment vehicle supporting creative enterprises across Africa, and also led the development of the COVID-19 stimulus fund aimed at supporting women-led businesses during the pandemic.
